Puerto Azul Cove is a small and charming cove located along the coastline of Peñíscola, next to Finca del Moro and the Edison Residential area, in the province of Castellón, within the well-known Costa del Azahar. It is a cove of reduced dimensions, measuring around 30 meters in length and approximately 15 meters in width, resulting in an area of about 320 square meters. Its shoreline is mainly composed of pebbles, stones, and rocky areas, so it is not a fine sandy beach, and the use of water shoes or aqua footwear is recommended for greater comfort when walking and swimming.

The surroundings of the cove are quiet and natural, making it an ideal option for those looking to get away from the more crowded beaches of Peñíscola. Even during the high season, its level of occupancy is usually moderate, and it is practically empty for the rest of the year, allowing visitors to enjoy the sea in a relaxed atmosphere. From the cove, there are pleasant views of the Mediterranean Sea and, from certain spots and on clear days, it is also possible to see views of Peñíscola Castle, one of the main attractions of the area.

Access to Puerto Azul Cove is mainly by car, via coastal roads that run along the southern coastline of Peñíscola, although parking spaces are limited due to the small size of the site. There is no lifeguard service, so extra caution is recommended when swimming. In terms of facilities, the cove only offers basic services, such as regular cleaning and litter bins.

The cove is perfect for swimming peacefully, relaxing in the sun, or enjoying the coastal surroundings at a leisurely pace. Thanks to its rocky seabed, it is also suitable for snorkeling, as it allows visitors to observe small marine species close to the shore, always taking care around the rocks.
