Peñíscola Remember Festival 2026: The Mediterranean’s Biggest Remember Music Celebration Marks Its 5th Anniversary
May 31, 2026 - 14:05
On Saturday, June 6, the Port of Peñíscola will once again become the epicenter of remember music with the fifth edition of the Peñíscola Remember Festival. The event has established itself as one of Spain’s must-attend gatherings for fans of 1990s and 2000s dance, eurodance, makina, and remember music, returning this year with a special anniversary edition and an ambitious lineup.
A Special Anniversary Edition
Organizers have described this edition as the most important in the festival’s history. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the event will bring together some of the most iconic voices and DJs from an era that defined a generation. According to the official program, the festival will feature more than a dozen original live vocalists, legendary DJs, and two stages entirely dedicated to remember culture.
The headline international act is Alice DJ, best known for the global dance anthem Better Off Alone, widely regarded as one of the most iconic European dance tracks ever produced. Her appearance tops a lineup designed to deliver nostalgia, energy, and entertainment over twelve uninterrupted hours of music.
Two Stages and More Than 12 Hours of Music
The festival will take place on the esplanade of the Port of Peñíscola, one of the most spectacular locations on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, offering stunning sea views and a unique atmosphere. Gates are scheduled to open at 4:00 p.m., with music continuing until 4:00 a.m.
The venue will feature two distinct areas:
- Main Stage, hosting live performances from original vocalists and guest DJs.
- Retrospective Stage, dedicated entirely to remember sessions and special back-to-back performances by more than twenty specialist DJs.
The Rise of Remember Festivals
The success of the Peñíscola Remember Festival reflects a broader revival of remember music across Spain, particularly in the Valencian Community. Events inspired by the golden era of dance music and the legendary club culture of the late 1990s and early 2000s are attracting thousands of fans eager to relive some of electronic music’s most memorable moments.
Within this growing movement, Peñíscola has positioned itself as a national reference thanks to its winning combination of legendary artists, a prime tourist destination, and increasingly ambitious production values.
Music, Tourism, and the Mediterranean Lifestyle
One of the festival’s greatest attractions is its location. Situated beside the Mediterranean Sea and just a short walk from Peñíscola’s historic old town and famous castle, the event offers much more than a music experience.
Many visitors choose to spend the entire weekend in the city, enjoying its beaches, Mediterranean cuisine, and vibrant early-summer atmosphere.
Tickets and Final Preparations
Tickets remain available through the festival’s official website, where attendees can choose from different admission options and group packages. Organizers also remind visitors that both a digital ticket and a valid ID will be required for entry.
For remember music enthusiasts, this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet. With Alice DJ leading the lineup, two dedicated stages, and the incomparable setting of the Port of Peñíscola, the festival’s fifth anniversary promises to be one of the standout music events of the Mediterranean summer.
