Mareva Blue, winner of the 19th Chanclas y Tapas Gastronomic Route

The Ruta Tapas y Chanclas has announced the winners of its latest edition. Mareva Blue restaurant has won the award for Best Tapas with its “Cojonudo” tapa, which received a score of 8.54 out of 10.
Second place also went to Mareva Blue for its “Mediterranean Bonbon” tapa, which received a score of 8.18, while third place went to El Tentadero with its “Estoque Ibérico” tapa, also scoring 8.18.
The award, which comes with a €500 prize, is based on the ratings submitted by participants who completed the entire route.
The €500 Best Customer Service award also went to Mareva Blue, based on votes from participants who completed the full route.
For the second consecutive year, the route was sponsored by Familia Martínez Bujanda winery, featuring four of its wines: Cantos de Valpiedra, Viña Bujanda Crianza, Finca Montepredoso Verdejo and Finca Antigua Viura Sobre Lías.
A total of 13 establishments took part in this initiative, which is now celebrating its 19th anniversary and has established itself as one of the province's must-attend and most successful gastronomic events, with 8,587 tapas served and an average of 613 tapas per establishment.
Participants rated the route very positively, with 92% describing their experience as very good, 7% as good and 1% as average.
