Peñíscola International Jazz Festival 2026: Full Concert Programme from 2 to 5 July
July 1, 2026 - 14:07
Peñíscola once again becomes the capital of jazz this week with the 23rd International Jazz Festival, one of the city's most important summer cultural events. From 2 to 5 July, the festival will bring together leading national and international artists in a programme that combines free open-air concerts with headline performances at the Peñíscola Conference Centre.
The festival will feature eight concerts in total. Four of them will be held with free admission in Plaza de Santa María, while the remaining four will take place at the Peñíscola Conference Centre. Among this year's highlights are Dominican pianist Michel Camilo, one of the world's leading figures in Latin jazz, and French pianist Thomas Enhco, regarded as one of the brightest talents on the contemporary European jazz scene.

Jazz in a Unique Setting
One of the festival's greatest attractions is its dual format. The evening concerts take place in Plaza de Santa María, in the heart of Peñíscola's historic old town, with free admission, while the night performances are held at the Conference Centre, offering audiences the opportunity to enjoy some of the finest names in international jazz in a more intimate atmosphere.
With more than two decades of history, the Peñíscola International Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most important cultural events in both Peñíscola and the Valencian Community, attracting jazz enthusiasts and visitors who make the most of their stay in the city by enjoying a world-class musical programme.
