Local Police

The Peñíscola Local Police play a fundamental role in ensuring security, civic coexistence, and the proper functioning of the municipality. Their duties include traffic surveillance, pedestrian protection, event and festival control, as well as direct assistance to residents and visitors. Especially during the tourist season, their presence is reinforced to guarantee a safe and orderly stay, also providing information and assistance to visitors. Committed to proximity and public service, the Peñíscola Local Police work in coordination with other security forces to preserve the well-being, peace, and quality of life in the city.

The main headquarters of the Local Police are located next to Papa Luna Avenue, at the entrance to Camping Edén. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
